OUCH
Had some steriod shots into the joint and joint capsule of my left forefinger which has been giving me 'fits' with pain during and after crocheting. That led to a few days of intense pain and 'vacation' from almost everything (including crochet) that uses my left hand.
Finally back in the 'saddle' and have finished crocheting a baby blanket with "Baby Clouds" yarn and a K hook. No pattern and consequently it is a Very big blanket and very thick also. Am now occupied handsewing a satin blanket binding onto the banket and will top that with a blind-stitched contrasting ribbon. The colours are two shades of blue, but each contains some of the other yarn's colour. Light in the darker and darker in the light. Used strictly random stripes and the overall effect is hazy in definition so have named this blanket "Random Impressionist Stripes"
Picture to follow when it is finished and cleaned.
